Lesson 3 - Love Languages
Have you taken the time to understand how you love, how your man loves? Does he show you he loves you with his actions rather than his words? Does he come and fix your dripping tap, mow your lawn or give you his jumper when you are cold? Then acts of service is his preferred way of showing you he loves you. Are you wanting more from him or are you needing him to love you a different way?
If his preferred way to show you love is through these acts of service, it might be a clue into the way he prefers to be loved. Most people love their partner how they want to be loved, but this can miss the mark. Take some time to understand how each other love, that way you don’t have to guess if your partner sees your actions, words, touch or quality time as a gesture of love.
Most men are simple, when they want to be with you they will be. You will know it and won’t need to second guess it. If you listen to his actions and words more than your underlying unconscious feelings, you might just see it for what it is.
If his actions are showing you he is not into you, if you are carrying everything for him in your handbag, carrying the groceries from the car, but he opens the door for you, you have to ask yourself if his actions are really showing he cares and considers you.
